Damage to the Trans-Atlantic submarine (under sea) cables near Egypt cost lead into decrease in bandwidth of the internet users of India, Pakistan, Egypt, Quatar, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait and Baharin. The users in Israel, Lebanon and Iraq are not affected, because the people of these countries are not using the cable via Egypt. Many of the Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) agencies including customer service call centres of leading US companies are working in India. This lead into the problem a global one.
This issue reveals the problems of undersea cabling. Similar situation happened during the earth quake in Taiwan in December 2006. The problem has also severly affected in the Eastern US and UK.
